GROUP THERAPY & SUPPORT GROUPS
GROUP THERAPY - are both effective and supportive. Our Group Therapy sessions provide a structured and goal-oriented approach to mental health care, facilitated by trained therapists.
Professional Facilitation: Led by trained therapists.
Goal-Oriented: Focuses on change using therapeutic techniques like cognitive-behavioral strategies.
Structured Sessions: These may be time-limited or ongoing, with members often expected to attend regularly.
Therapeutic Techniques: Includes structured activities, discussions, and interventions to address specific mental health concerns.
Confidentiality: Emphasizes maintaining confidentiality to create a safe sharing environment.
Outcomes: Enhances social skills, self-awareness, and social connections, addressing a variety of psychological issues.
SUPPORT GROUPS - Our Support Groups provide a safe and supportive environment where members can share their experiences and support each other. These groups foster solidarity, empathy, and personal empowerment, allowing participants to know they are not alone in their struggles.
Peer Support: Members support each other through shared experiences, fostering solidarity and empathy.
Informal Structure: Less structured, often without professional facilitation, and allows for open discussion.
Shared Experiences: Formed around common challenges like grief or addiction recovery.
Personal Empowerment: Members feel empowered by giving and receiving support, knowing they are not alone.
Flexible Attendance: Participants can come and go as needed, with less emphasis on regular attendance.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling helps couples build more connected, fulfilling relationships. Our expert couples counselors help couples revive their "spark", improve communication, and resolve relationship issues such as criticism, blame, longstanding hurts, and betrayal. We can equip your relationship with skills to handle conflicts peacefully and lead to a stronger emotional connection.
Counseling for Children (Ages 5-12)
Our expert children's counselors use elements of play and art therapy in a safe and supportive space for kids to express their emotions and work through any challenges they may be facing. Counseling can help children develop healthy coping mechanisms, improve their behavior and communication skills, and build self-esteem. Children who receive counseling are more likely to succeed academically and socially, and are less likely to develop mental health issues later in life.
Counseling for Teens (13-17)
Our teen counselors help teens who are struggling with mental health, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and other issues. It can help them develop the skills and strategies they need to thrive both in their personal and academic lives.
